Ambience or food quality matters?
Today we celebrated my toddler’s birthday. We were torn between good food, lousy place and great ambience and so-so foods. In the end, the teens chose the ambience. Well, I do not mind the ambience and forego the taste because sometimes, it is good to just sit back and enjoy the company.
I had previously featured this place and will not mention it again because my well-intended suggestions were shot down by some nasty commentors. I do not believe the nasty commentors are the patrons because no customers will bother so much about minor things. I merely say their fat lady statue will turn me off from eating. It was just a quip I made and that guy blew off and said I had bad taste in arts (duh, how the heck I know the statue costs over RM300K) and he said I make bad jokes. Doh!
See? Good ambience doesn’t sell. The place is almost empty. The food is well, so-so.
Dear readers, what will you choose? Good ambience, lousy foods, lousy service or great foods, friendly service but uncomfortable surroundings?
