Avoid degree that gone wrong

There was a piece of news in the papers the other day. This small local college had failed to give their students the diploma they deserve because of some financial dispute. The students then went to one of the state assemblyman’s office to make a complaint. These are travel and tourism students. I got curious and asked a friend close to the state assembleman for the name of the college as it wasn’t revealed in the press.

I want to be sure because my son is contemplating taking a course in culinary arts and I certainly do not want to send him to a college like that. I got the information already and it is just a tiny college. Therefore, if anyone if contemplating taking a degree or diploma, do make sure that they go to a reputable college and not just some newly set-up one with dubious backgrounds.

Online Degree is now easily available and we also have to make sure that we pick the right university that offers reputable qualifications. Look through their past history, check the reputation and be sure that it is an established one. Otherwise, it is very risky to end up with the wrong one.

Open learning university is now available almost every where and one just opened in my island. The good thing is anyone can study. Even I can get a degree now if I want. But no, I am too lazy and lack the motivation to pursue a diploma or even degree. However, the idea is rather attractive. I was joking with my hubby and both he and I should join my eldest son in the culinary arts and one day, all three of us can open a restaurant.
