Hi!! Auntie!! I’m from Caunterhall. Youdidn’t mention that there’s a kick-ass char koay teow stall in the morning. This skinny guy has a huge lady erving the koay teow. When you order it there, make sure you ask for more bak eu phok. At night, there’s a van opposite the field. A blue van. They have the softest, smoothest tau hua ever. You have to try these things. Trust me auntie. I grew up in the area.

I left Penang 27 years ago to US. Shamefully I had forgotten all about Penang. Until 3 years ago I had a chance to go back for a business trip, it seem that my memories suddenly come back all at once. Since then, I have been back every year. After reading your blog and recommendation, I will be back this June to try some of these foods and places. Can wait to try those foods…..

when i’m in kl i always go to eat tis kind of seafood pakage in petaling street… the taste is good but u’ve to ask the cook to reduce the spicy or u’ll get sweat all over ur body coz it’s really hot… u can give it a try..:)

the curry mee and lor mee there are definitely good, not a bad place at all, wide range of choices there
