Cendol & Ais Kacang to die for
I blogged about cendol and ais kacang a couple of months back. But couldn’t resist showing the pics again because this cendol and aiskacang is a lot tastier. It uses the small red beans instead of kidney beans. These two heavenly cool, desserts are from Swatow Lane, the stall where the coffee-shop is. (There are two stalls, one is the original stall by the longkang side and the other, across the road, at the coffee-shop.) Arggggh…I cannot resist cendol. Must go eat again this weekend. Envy me? Slurrrppppp….

And the ais-kacang with an ice-cream perching high up, tempting everyone.

Oh my… must be very sweeten by the syrup.
The peanut looks over fried, black in color…
The ice-cream should be in bigger size or double it

OMG i know exactly what you mean..everytime i go Penang i definitely find time to go Swatow Lane, look for the uncle n order ice kacang..he usually recommends the “everything-in” ice kacang with all sorts of fruits..

[...] Lately, one can find buah kabung packed in clean plastic containers from the supermarkets. It costs about RM3 and the seeds are large and chewy. I like to buy them and take a few after meals. It is very sweet with sticky syrup. Buah kabung is often used in ice kacang. [...]
