I am from Penang. Married 3 years ago. We celebrated past CNYs in Penang as my in-laws are no longer around. But, we decided to stay put in KL this year cause we had a break-in during CNY 2008. And it's really hectic. Despite taking care of my 3 lovely kids, I need to clean the house, complete the daily routine and prepare for CNY. Though I have no experience in cooking CNY dishes such as sea cucumber, fish maw, abalone soup etc., the ingredients are all ready stocked up in kitchen. Now, I am searching hi & low for the recipe of Claypot Waxed Meat Rice, but none meets my expectation. So if you or anyone you know, have or might have the recipe, please share it with me.
