When my 11 yrs old son has his birthday, we let him have the choice of choosing where to have his meals. In fact, the lucky boy has two days to select what he wants to eat and all of us just had to follow. For lunch, he chose Japanese and hence, we had to endure two days of Japanese foods.
For dinner, he wanted the crispy noodle from Tai Thong and the next day, buffet at The Revolving restaurant. Below are photos of the dim sum we had at Tai Thong.
Tai Thong sells rice, noodles, dishes and also dim sum. We ordered the oyster omelette which is really eggs and oysters only. It is not the regular oh chien which has the starchy tapioca flour.
I like the pork curry which comes with steamed mantou or wheat flour dumpling.
The other item I like is the steamed shellfish stuffed with minced pork and lots of garlic.
Ok…I know I said it was my son’s birthday and hence, I should share what he likes. But the kid only likes the crispy noodles from Tai Thong and before I can ever fire up the camera, all of them have grabbed the crispy noodles from the plate. LOL, so I have nothing left to take photo of. You can find another post on Cafe De Tai Thong here.
