Fish soup noodle (hu thau bee hoon)
I have not updated this blog much because I have been sick since Monday, which is already four days. So, I have not eaten anything exciting enough to blog about it.
However, there is this fantastic fish head noodle which I love from Kedai Kopi Min Jiang. The guy fried those slices of fresh fishes on the spot. This means you get crunchy, freshly fried fish flesh in batter in the noodle. This is a no frills fish head beehoon stall as they only serve it this way. No extra seafoods available.
Do try it the next time you are in the Air Itam area. They have plenty of good foods there. Kedai Kopi Min Jiang is on Jalan Air Itam, right after the Nissan showroom. Nissan showroom is at the corner of Jalan Boundary (turning into Rifle Range) and Jalan Air Itam.

for fish soup noodle, my best bet will be a kopitiam located beside the grand paradise hotel along macalister road
This stall serves the best “hu tau” around as the fried fish will stay crunchy for some time even it is in the soup for quite some time
