Gordon Ramsay and the F word
Lately, I have been so engrossed in watching TV and especially, the Asian Food Channel on 703 Astro. Sometimes, it is a great torture to watch those delicious foods when I haven’t have my breakfast and lunch. The stomach will be grumbling and rumbling and saliva drips.
There are lots of celebrity chefs on that channel like Nigela Lawson, Jamie Oliver, Anthony Bourdain and etc. There are also reality shows whereby they do restaurant makeover based on tight budgets, cook show to pick a chef and etc. But there is this one show call The F Word by Gordon Ramsay.
It is a nice mix of show with Gordon Ramsay going out of the studio, into the field and back to the studio. What I mean is, it is not just a chef standing there cooking and doing nothing else. As you know, the show is call The F Word. But our local TV is not receptive to the *teet* word and the blardy *teet* Astro keep *teet* the annoying *teet* sound everytime they utter the F word. Don’t you think it is stupid?
What the *teet* is wrong with the *teet* word!

The censorship board is living in a state of denial…
Anyway, I can’t get my eyes off 703 as well. It’s drooliciously interesting for those who love food

I agree it’s so stupid – having so many teet’s in a programme draws the person’s attention to the word, and makes them wonder what the censorship board is censoring!

Strange enough, living in the UK for the past 30 odd years, I consider the cooking of the likes of Ramsay, Oliver, Nigella, etc. as Second Division compared to the down to earth cooking of our Penang Hawkers.
