Groovy Google

I just got smacked with a pagerank reduction and I am still smarting from that. I lost my PR 5/10 and now get only a common PR 4/10. Oh well, you win some, you lose some. Cannot be at the top all the time, can we?

Well, as I said, I am pretty mad with Google until I find Groovy Google or Groovle that is such a nice eye candy as what TechCrunch mentioned. So, I browse around to see if it can take away the pain inflicted by Grandma Google. And I found this hot hunky, Colin Farrel staring back at me. Now, that’s is certainly much better than Grandma Google, isn’t it?

You may ask, “HUH? What’s Groovle?”

Well it is a personalize Google that you can use.

Groovle – Your GROOVY Google Homepage – was created so people can customize their Internet homepage with images ranging from favorite celebrities or sports teams to more personal images of friends and family etc.

Personalize Google means you can upload your own photos and make them as your internet homepage. The site already have a list of prepared images and that’s where I found Colin Farrel.

Right now, there is lacking one category, i.e. Food and Drinks. I think Groovle will come up with that category soon because staring at yummylicious foods is certainly more delicious than half-naked celebrity, isn’t it?

I am experimenting with uploading my own images to make the homepage. If food is not your favourite, how about trying some sexydesktop as well? They are all available on Groovy Google Homepage.

Now, you may ask, why do they create these? Well, it is a customised homepage and it is fun. You get to see your own favourite photos instead of the blank pages you are getting from Google. Next, do you wonder why do they create this? Well, you can make money from Google Custom Search Engine (CSE) and I also have that on my sidebar.

So, go on, have fun with it. Personalized your search and you won’t be seeing boring Grandma Google anymore. I am glad I stumbled upon this because now, losing my PR is not so painful after all. I shall just need to work hard with my contents and earn back my PR 5/10.
