His and her breakfasts
My dear hubby is such a health nut nowadays. I told him to keep going with the healthy living so that he can live beyond me. Hahaha. He is now in ‘semi-retirement’ and hence, has a lot of time in the morning to go for hiking. He can easily hike up Penang Hill from the tar road from Botanical Gardens. (poor me stayed behind at home because no one takes care of our little boy who is sleeping)
When he gets home, he will take a bowl of muesli, milk and fruits. Before he went for the hike, he will drink a glass of Milo.
So, normally, when I wake up in the morning, I just wait till lunch time before I have my first meal. I am not a breakfast person. So much for most important meal of the day.
Now, this is my kind of breakfast. Once in a while, if I need to go to the morning market in Air Putih (Btw, that’s our CM’s state assembly seat), we will have breakfast at either Gold City or Keat Seng kopitiam. Both of these coffeeshops have plenty of nice things to eat.
My little boy likes the toasted bread there while I like almost everything from there.
But the dear hubby? He would take his boring muesli and milk and sat there waiting for me to gobble down my curry mee, Sabah mee, char koay teow, Hainan Chicken Rice and Jawa Mee. So frus can die! I hate eating breakfast alone when he sits there on his healthy diet. But the thought of him outliving me is great. Who wants to be left alone, huh?
Now, that I had mentioned about the semi-retirement stage, do pardon me if you see more non-food posts, ok? *winks*

Somehow I felt you loved your hubby very much and you’re being a good wife. Anyway, I hope you and your family able to eat healthy and stay health. Don’t forget to do exercise like your hubby ya.
