I love surprises!

I got a lovely, pleasant surprise this morning. I received a package from USA and upon opening, it turns out to be a stack of cards printed in London, UK. What is so special is card is personalised for me with photos of food and my blog URL. I didn’t expect it and getting it is therefore, a very nice surprise.

Just like during Christmas, I got an unexpected gift from someone. She knows that I love this particular pickles and it is not for sale but I tasted it once. So, the dear lady went out of her way to order a jar for me and gave me as Christmas gift. It was the best gift ever.

It is in the little things that we do that usually makes people most happy. For example, sometimes, I boil a nice pot of dessert and bring it to this nice, old lady and she was soooo happy about it. So, ever thought of surprising someone with something you cook?

Of course, not everyone can cook. So that’s why florists are doing so well because people constantly need to order a bunch of flowers for their loved ones or new found friends and surprise them. Now, with the convenience of the internet, one can just log on to 1800flowers and get a bunch without the hassle of ordering through the phones or make a personal visit. They even have franchise and you can even set up a florist shop through them.
