Kek Lok Si Temple

This is a view of the Kek Lok Si Temple (The Pagoda) and the huge statue of the Guan Yin in Air Itam. These two temples are lighted up for several weeks in a year and the sight is not to be missed. Most Penangites will flock to the temple ground on the eve of Chinese New Year and the subsequent 15 days.

A closer look at the inside of the temple.
Some went there for prayers and some people like me, are there just to catch the mood of the Chinese New Year. I had taken a lot of photos which I hope to upload later. The above photo is taken far away from the temple (about 2 kilometre away).
