Look at the sole
I went to a Siamese Buddhist Temple in Pulau Tikus on 5th January ’05 and took several photos. Here is one which I was trying to capture the floor tiles with lotus motives. Hey, my name is Lotus (Lian) and therefore, I have fascination for lotuses.
But when I got home and downloaded the photo, alamak, what do I get? There appear to be two huge holes on the sleeping Buddha’s sole and knee. I called my hubby to see and he couldn’t figure out. However, my kids immediately knew what are those. They can’t be tricked with my ‘Buddha got crucified’ story.
So take a look and tell me…
