Mee Juta

I didn’t get a photo of this Mee Juta but I have to tell you it is good. It is good naked. Naked as in no garnishing, no meats, no char siew. Only a little gravy and spring onion plus its sourish chillies and chopped garlic.

The noodle is handmade with eggs and the texture is very Q-Q or springy. Head over to Erina’s new blog and read her post about this Mee Juta found at Goodall Hawker Centre.

The actual noodle comes garnished with chicken and char siew but since I am not eating meats temporarily, I asked them to leave it out. So, I had this plate of bare noodle with spring onion. Of course, it is not enough to fill me up so I ordered a bowl of yong taufoo soup with ‘chee chai’ (seaweed) and fu pei plus vegetables. Yummmm….
