Multi-racial Thaipusam in Penang

I again brave the hot sun and rowdy crowd to capture more photos and video. As you can see, the Chinese are very much part of Thaipusam. They carry the kavadi, have spears pierced through their cheeks, milk jars hooked to their whole body and even dance the Thaipusam dance. I will try to upload a few video clips later on. The music and the dancing are something not to be missed. Truly a humbling experience to see them walking barefoot under the blazing sun, on the burning tar road. (I intentionally capture back views and side views only of the devotees.)
