New camera that makes lousy food looks good
Last night, we bought a cheap digital camera for my 14 years old son. It is cheap because it costs less than RM700 and yet it comes with 7 megapixels, lots of scenes to choose from, easy handling, takes great supermacro shots, make nice video and well, it is cheap. The model is Pentax Optio M20 which was just released a few months ago. It has some decent reviews on the net too.

Recently, my prosumer camera seems to be a bit ’sick’ and have not been giving nice photos. But this new Pentax even takes good shots in darkness. We were famished after shopping and went to the nearest stall for dinner. The above plate of dried horfun taste lousy.

So is my plate of regular hor fun. But can you see the smoke rising up?

The prawns and char siew look so delectable in an otherwise, tasteless plate of dish. If you are a hawker in Penang, you have to have very high standard or else, you will close shop real soon. I think the hor fun stall will do that soon.
