No pork import for us
I was at the deli at Cold Storage to get some bacon and ham. So, my kids suddenly thought of having some prosciutto and salami.
Guess what the guy taking care of the deli told us? No import of pork or pork stuffs from overseas are allowed at the moment. I didn’t clarify if every countries are affected or just certain ones.
The salami and prosciutto that we normally buy are from Italy. The guy said the Government temporarily does not allow any import. Well, I do see some Australian brand like Primo.
So, I don’t know this is just temporarily. I hope not. I want my prosciutto!
This sounds like the turkey issue.
Anyone has any idea about this?
