Penang International Floral Festival 2005
The school holiday is here! Beginning this Saturday until 28th May 2005 until 12 June 2005. Why not come to Penang for a holiday? The durian is in full season now. The Penang State Government has lined up several activities to occupy the tourists.
Over at the Penang Botanic Gardens, the State Government will be holding the Penang International Floral Festival.
Date : 29th May 2005 until 5th June 2005
Time : 9am to 9pm
Usually, the Botanic Gardens closes in the evening but for this festival they will open until 9pm. A change indeed!
Pssstt… lovers used to go to the gardens at night for some romancing *winks* and hence, the authority locked it up last time to prevent any funny activities going on. Now that it is open to the public till late hours, come and have a stroll under the moonlight and starlight. I am sure it will be very romantic, peaceful and memorable.
Photographers and photographers wannabe (like yours truly) will definitely make a visit to snap macro shots of those lovely flowers.
If you want to know more about the place, please do a search on my site. In the search box, type in penang botanical gardens and you can find at least 5-6 blogs I had written early about this place.
See you there!
