I used to stay in Hotel Malaysia when I visited Penang few years back. The mamak shop opposite the hotel is damn freaking expensive. I remember my plate of mixed rice cost me about RM10.70. WTF! I could have eaten 3-5 plates of mixed rice in Malacca with that amount of money. But, their soup is nice though. Can’t wait to visit Penang again after reading Penang Faces.
