Soft, chewy sweets

Some prefer the gummy bears from Germany.  It is said to contain pig’s gelatine and you can only find it from delis that sell pork.  Me?  I tried it before and it is nothing special.  Too sour for my taste buds.  And I absolutely hate it when my kids buy those coke worms.  You know….those gummy tape made to look like worms?

Give me local made soft sweets like the above anytime.  I love it because it is not sour at all and it is not that rubbery.  They have been around for as long as I remember, and that is a mighty long time.

It is nice to chew, chew, chew those sweet stars.  Drives the stress away, don’t you think so?  It is fun discerning if the different colours have different tastes and smells.

You know I have been on a slow mode when I write about nothing but sugar candies.  :P  Hopefully with the school holidays, I have plenty of new things to cook.  Or maybe I will be too busy cooking to write.  Whatever.

Have a good weekend to all!

Wah! My saliva drooling… I love these soft jelly sweets. Always buy them every Chinese New Year. Very colourful and many flavours to choose.

    So addictive…
I remember that once I started eating them, I wouldn’t stop till the packet was completely empty….
