The great big slowdown in postings
I have not been updating this blog and my other food blogs much because I practically have nothing to cook! My fridge was empty, my larder bare and even my rice and noodles were finished.
You see, during the flood, our apartment elevator was shut down to prevent us being electrocuted. LOL, I was telling my sons that if the apartment superintendent did not switch off the main switch, the elevator will turned into an oven if we are electrocuted inside. Imagine the lift door opens and inside there are three roasted turkeys (me and sons LOL).
So, we were without elevator for several days because the shaft needs time to dry up as flood waters entered it. Funny as it seems, it is not so funny to my poor neighbours who stay in landed properties. All their houses were flooded and those stinky, dirty water entered their homes. Many of them have to throw out a lot of damaged furniture.
It is times like these that one is appreciative of every kind of stands, from sofas, fridges to TV Stands. These proved to be useful as flood waters will not reach the those bigger furniture which are too heavy to be lifted up to their upper floor.
So, if you are looking for TV Stand like what is shown below, do check out this site.

They have a huge range of TV Stand which is suitable for those large LCD and Plasma TVs. Beside that, there are audio racks, video racks, speaker stands and speaker mounts. Just the kind of things that will drive my hubby wild with his temptation to buy every sights and sounds for the home.
