Tomyam, sausage and more pei pa duck

I can go back to place for the same food over and over again. Eventhough there must be 30-40 stalls at the Northam Cafe (lots of photos here and here too), I only eat Tomyam. I get choose what I like and I put pig’s skin and lots of oyster mushroom. Who needs prawns when you can have pig’s skin that absorb the tomyam soup?

My husband must have his mandatory pei pa duck’s rice. Try the duck here, the sauce is nice.

My son craves for the Wunderbar German Restaurant (they closed shop and operate a stall now) veal sausage with the mashed potato. Which is why we had to go back again and again. The brown sauce is soooo nice.

So, if you are a tourist, make sure you drop in Northam Cafe because they have decent (not exactly the best) foods and the varieties are huge. Direction/location found on my other foodblog.

Have not tried the food, just drinks. Pricey. The duck looks most delicious!

tummythoz – Yeah, they wanna suck the tourists money. My hubby also grumbled ‘cos normal drinks cost 40-50 cents more per glass. But heh, I told him we are paying for the sea breeze.
