Valentine’s Day gift ideas

When I was about 19 years old, I actually baked a batch of cookies, put them in a nice jar and gave it to a guy as Valentine’s Day gift. Back then, there were no Amos. Now, my eldest son sort of caught in the same cycle and he baked the above for someone. Of course, I mixed the cake but he personal attended to the heart shape cake tin.
So, with Valentine’s Day just less than a month away, are you planning anything? Of course, baking a cake will be a monumental task if you don’t have the basic of it. How about doing some heart shape jellies?

Then again, a packet of jello only cost one or two bucks. So, your recipient may find you cheap, eh? In that case, I think I better don’t give you anymore valentines gift ideas because you may find it too cheap. But then, on this special day many of the restaurants charge exhorbitant prices. So, if you wish to get more gift ideas, how about checking out what Julie says? She has a video on http://www.1800flowers.com/valentine-article—video-tips-from-julie which you may find useful.
Generally, I think every person should celebrate Valentine’s Day. Be it for your school crush, your colleagues, your real lovers or families and friends. After all, it is the best movitation for you to blurt out your love without having to say too much. Just get them some nice gifts and that says a lot.
Oh ya, if you are game for baking cakes and cookies or making jellies, you still have time to learn them now. And if you like quiz, they have a quiz for you to find out what type of valentine’s flower are you. (at the time of writing, the site is not available online)
