Wesak procession
Some photos I just took. The Buddhist devotees are taking part in the Wesak Day procession which starts at 7pm. Actually I snapped these photos before the procession and hence, appearing here before the real procession starts.
The float procession of the Buddha statue from Penang Buddhist Association

The Buddhist devotees lining up at the Penang Chinese Recreation Club. Can see Penang’s tallest building KOMTAR at the background?

Children from the Triple Wisdom Hall Sunday School (printed on their T-shirts)

Monks gathering to lead the procession which is starting from Jalan Burmah at Malaysian Buddhist Association

(I was around the area because one of my son has karate grading at YMCA. Going out to pick him soon. Hahaha, I am beginning to feel like a real life reporter.)

Thanks for the on the spot reporting. I must admit I’ve never been to a wesak day procession so seeing them in pictures is nice.
