What makes a blog stand out from others?

I took the ferry this morning and we were lucky enough to get an upper deck. I think we have only one or two ferries which have two decks which are filled with cars. These are the newer ferries and that means much faster. I look down on the next ferry and saw these bunch of people on bikes. So colourful and so varied, isn’t it? When the ferry reached the shore, either on the mainland or the island, all these bikers will race each other to get out of the ferry.
That reminds me. Nowadays, almost every can own a piece of the web. Everyone can start a food blog. So, that makes me wonder how can I make sure that my blogs will remain ahead and not get lost in that sea of crowded web? That’s why I have started another few other food blogs and make them into their special niches. Instead of updating every day on the same blog, I am now updating everyday but on different blogs, according to their topics.
Starting a new blog is not easy. It usually takes me at least three to six months before I get any decent organic traffic. I started by inter-linking between my blogs but we must never over do it or else Google will penalise me for link farm. Other than that, I submit my new blogs to free web directories and also submit to all the search engines.
Then, I have to keep reminding and motivating myself that although those new blogs are not visited yet, with some time, it will start to gain its traffic.
So, I hope to continue with the discipline of segregating all my niches correctly.
