Wo tip - Gyoza like dumplings
I notice that they don’t serve pork that much in Sabah. Everywhere I go, they have huge signs ‘No pork serve’. After a while, I sort of miss eating pork because everything is made from chicken meat.
This is wor tip or chicken dumpling. It is a little bit like the Japanese gyoza dumpling. The hawker centre in Kampung Air in KK town has two stalls selling this. The skin is freshly made on the spot and the taste is not bad. I wish they had serve it with ginger and black vinegar but they only gave chillie sauce.
Is this some Sabah’s speciality or what? You cannot find wor tip around here in Penang unless they are from restaurants.
