Have you notice how some products are selling so well while others remain on the shelves? Yesterday, I have a cravings for coconut sweets. These are the traditional coconut sweets that I used to eat when I was a kid. I wanted the brand that I had since a kid.
However, that particular brand still have some old packaging and it wasn’t attractive at all. Meanwhile, there are several new brands which I have never tried before. Yet, the packaging looks so traditional and rustic. It is because they are using some very nice labels and each packs have different types of traditional scenes. So, I ended up buying the nicer pack. However, the taste is nothing like what I used to have.
So, moral of the story is to get the right labels for your products or most probably you won’t be able to compete. Labels are now easily printed because of new technology. I wonder why some manufacturers are still so stubborn in their old ways and didn’t spend some money on improving their packaging?
